There’s no deal yet on where the Pacquiao vs Margarito fight will be held but according to some sources that Pacquiao prefer the Monterrey in Mexico for they’re November 13 match against a Mexican Antonio Margarito. The Fighter of the Decade added that he is willing to the possibility that he might slug it out with Margarito in Mexico, should the Mexican fail to secure a boxing license in Nevada. Pacquiao also said that he agree to a catchweight of 150 lb, no heavier than that, when he faces Antonio Margarito. In fact Antonio Margarito has agreed to meet Manny Pacquiao at the catchweight of 150 lbs, or 4 lbs below the 154 limit. Manny Pacquiao said in an interview “I like Mexico. It’s nice in Mexico. Let’s try Mexico,” when asked where he’d like to face the former welterweight champion. Pacquiao said he hasn’t signed the fight contract yet, but will soon go through it. But the reigning pound-for-pound champion said the fight for the vacant WBC super-welterweight title is bound to happen. Most likely, it’s Margarito,” said Pacquiao after negotiations for a super fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. bogged down.
