Seven-division world champion Manny Pacquiao opened training camp in Quezon City on Tuesday. Pacquiao vs Margarito who is set to clash on November 13, started working the mitts with long-time friend Buboy Fernandez at the Elorde Gym. The Filipino champion has not been boxing since his unanimous decision win over Ghana’s Joshua Clottey on March 13. He assured his fans that his legislative duties won’t get in the way of his training. Pacquiao said all that he needs to do is balance his schedule.

"Boxing is my passion and I really love it as my life," said Pacquiao. His trainer-coach Freddie Roach is scheduled to arrive in Manila on Sunday. Pacquiao will likely train in Manila for a few days while he attends to his duties in Congress. Pacquiao and Roach are scheduled to go to Baguio City where they will continue training for at least a month. The Filipino boxer will attempt to win an eighth world title, the World Boxing Council (WBC) super welterweight crown, when he fights Margarito at the Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
